Our Story..
From the far stretches of the sunny West Coast to the multi-seasons of the East, Marquisha and Lauren first met in Los Angeles as media creatives in 2019. Fast forward to an exciting text message proclaiming Marquisha would be joining the crazy world of New Yorkers, an even more exciting, spontaneous move, and late night conversations that revealed more in common than just the arts: Paws & Tails was born!
Having each a decade of experience working with animals, Mar and Lo have combined their multi-faceted powers and honor code of empathy, communication, and patience into the ethos of Paws&Tails. Ensuring that your four–and sometimes three--legged family member(s) is always comfortable, safe, and left with a happy wag is our top priority.
We’re not afraid to travel for our pups and kitties either! We’re Brooklyn-based, local to Bedford Stuyvesant and serve selective areas of Manhattan and Queens. Insured and bonded, we specialize in senior care, anxious pets, and disabled animals. And as fur parents to a black cat and pitbull mix, we definitely don't discriminate against any breed!
We know the trust it takes leaving your fur baby with another person and that is a bond we don't take for granted.
